A Letter of Welcome from your CCC-DPHMD President, Cate Smith

As the President of the Complex and Chronic Conditions Division (CCC-DPHMD), I want to thank you for your interest and support of our division.
We are excited to continue our endeavor to implement our revitalized strategic plan with a renewed focus on advocacy for individuals with chronic and complex support needs. This plan will guide our actions and initiatives in the coming years, reinforcing our commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.
We look forward to sharing resources and supports with you this year and will continue to advocate for quality education for all individuals with physical disabilities, multiple disabilities, and special health care needs served in schools, hospitals, or home settings. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of people with complex and chronic conditions and in the lives of teachers, healthcare professionals, service providers, families, and community advocates.
Your input, support, and collaboration are invaluable as we strive to create a more inclusive and impactful organization. We welcome new ideas, suggestions, or a desire to contribute to our revitalized journal either with a submission or by becoming a reviewer. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
